Crémant de Bourgogne A.C., Blanc de Noirs brut, Cave de Marsigny, Burgundy, France
Anniversary Sip
Pale yellow with orange-coloured reflexes in the glass and powerful, but fine perlage, aromas of peaches and hazelnuts as well as a hint of the fragrance of roses. Creamy, melodious on the palate with a beery sweetness that is wonderfully absorbed by the invigorating, fresh acidity.
Pinot noir and Gamay, the traditional grape varietals for Burgundy, provide the bulk wines for this marvellous Crémant.
Alcohol content: 12.5% by volume, drinking temperature: 10–12° C, tasting date: 14th April 2009
