Too much fat, harmful substances in the smoke – and the large amount of meat. Signs of exoneration are now coming from the field of science. New findings suggest greater amounts of nutritional protein. Instead of 0.8 grams, leading researchers would now like to recommend up to 2 grams per kilo of body weight per day. The extra protein is supposed to help make you feel more satiated, build more muscles and stay slim.
This would also lower the risk of coronary and circulatory diseases and diabetes. The lowest calorie sources of high quality protein: lean meat, poultry and fish. So, let’s get barbecuing!
But ladies first: Serve a fresh mixed salad beforehand to make waiting for the first steak worthwhile and to satisfy initial hunger.
The nutritional values will also be just right then.
